North Port Aquatic Center

Our kids love coming to the North Port Aquatic center. We enrolled our 2 girls in the swimming lessons and they have done so well with the lifeguards who teach the classes. We really loved Mr. Donovan and hope to see him again soon. We do enjoy the water park area as well for the kids and have stayed for 4 hours before. It’s hard sometimes to stay long because the shade options there are limited unless you get a table under the tent section or privately rent a shaded spot with them. Overall, it’s a nice aquatic center and we will continue to come back.

It's a beautiful new smaller waterpark. My daughter rented the gazebo for her daughter's 3rd birthday party. All the kids loved running around and playing in the water. We had a problem getting food. Before noon they were already out of both hot dogs and pizza, the only options they have. The line to get the food was always long and very slow moving. If you don't want to wait for ever to get food pack sandwiches and go back out and eat them at your car. The lifeguards are a joke and don't really do much but I guess look good. There was a bunch of kids pushing on top of the slide for a few minutes and the lifeguards said nothing to the kids. Unfortunately my 3 year old granddaughter paid the price when they pushed her down the slide, making her smack her head in the process. There were several times through the day that I can't believe the lifeguards watched things happen and said nothing. Line cutting is ridiculous and totally out of control as well. It's the little things that can ruin your family fun outing day.

Great place to take the kids! Very clean and all around friendly environment. It isn't stupid expensive and there's food and drinks there to purchase. Wish they had more healthier options for food and drinks. I highly recommend taking the kids here for a day and its small enough you don't feel overwhelmed trying to keep up w the kids. Great park right next to it to picnic and let the kids play on the playground
